Ajman Transport completes preparations to participate in the Global Rail 2025 Exhibition and Conference in Abu Dhabi

Ajman Transport Authority has completed its preparations to participate in the Global Rail 2025 Exhibition and Conference for Railways and Transport Infrastructure, set to be held in Abu Dhabi with the participation of leading government and private entities, as well as international experts and companies specializing in sustainable transport systems.

The Authority’s participation comes as part of its commitment to keeping pace with the latest global practices and experiences in the transport sector and strengthening its presence in specialized forums that contribute to supporting the emirate’s plans for sustainable and smart mobility.

During the exhibition, the Authority will showcase the features of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project in Ajman. Humaid Al Matrooshi, Director of Public Transport Department and Head of the Authority’s delegation to the exhibition, explained that the project is one of the pioneering initiatives aimed at developing and enhancing the efficiency of the public transport network, in line with the UAE’s directions to promote sustainability and smart transformation.

Al Matrooshi pointed out that the project will represent a qualitative leap in the transport system by dedicating high-capacity bus lanes that ensure faster travel, punctuality, and the provision of smart services that meet the needs of all segments of society.

The Authority’s participation falls within a comprehensive strategy aimed at reviewing global best practices, exchanging expertise, and building partnerships that contribute to reinforcing Ajman’s position as a modern city that embraces innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.
