Ajman Transport Authority organizes awareness workshop on the occasion of World Law Day

The Legal Affairs Office at Ajman Transport Authority organized an awareness workshop on the occasion of World Law Day, under the title “Legislation and Hierarchy in Administrative Laws”, as part of the Authority’s commitment to promoting legal culture among its employees and reinforcing the principles of compliance with governmental laws and regulations.

The workshop addressed key themes on the importance of legislation as a tool to regulate institutional work, ensure transparency and accountability, and explained the mechanism of hierarchy in administrative laws and regulations to guarantee the proper implementation of administrative decisions in line with approved legal frameworks.

It also highlighted the role of legal awareness in supporting the work environment and enhancing institutional performance, as well as the importance of employees’ continuous familiarity with laws and legislations related to the transport sector and public services.

Sheikha Counselor Azza Abdullah Al-Mualla, Director of the Legal Affairs Office at Ajman Transport Authority, stated that organizing this workshop is in line with the Authority’s approach to disseminating legal knowledge and raising employees’ awareness, stressing that law represents a fundamental framework governing workflows and enhancing institutional efficiency. She added that through such initiatives, the Authority is keen to empower its staff with a sound understanding of relevant laws and regulations, thereby contributing to the development of the transport system in alignment with future requirements.

The Authority affirmed that organizing this workshop reflects its commitment to enhancing legal knowledge among its staff and reinforcing the principle of the rule of law as a cornerstone of government operations.
